Hi all,

I'm a long time lurker/fan of SDN and this is my first time posting. In my foolish nervousness/excitement to submit my primary application, I did not completely finish the "honors/awards" section of the app. After pressing submit, I realized it. I am not usually, this careless but I suppose that doesn't matter. I am really upset with myself and am seeking your advice on ideas of how I can solve this since pharmcas does not allow you to edit that section after submission. I was thinking of mentioning the honors/awards somewhere in my supplemental applications.

What do you think? I almost feel as though I have no other choice!

Thank you in advance! 😕😕😕😕😕😕😕

PS I am also having trouble rushing my professors submission of LORs!!!! They received their instructions in June, and still have not submitted. Any ideas? I do gently harass them about once per week. Now that school has started, I can stop by their office hours but am scared I will become annoying to them. Suggestions?😕😕😕

PharmCas will have a Date when they open the application again. You can use this time to change. Or you can call them. They may let you change it.

Have you tried explaining to your recommenders that you need it done asap. I had to do that with one of my LOR. I basically sent her an email stating that I was planning to submit my application early (listed the date) and that I would greatly appreciate it if she can complete the application at her earliest convenience. Hopefully, your recommenders will get the point.

The only thing that would cross my mind is that maybe your recommenders do not feel comfortable writing an LOR for you. Could this be a possibility? Some prof's may say "sure" when you ask them to write one and then ignore the request once it arrives. I would suggest having a plan B. Maybe chosing someone else.

Good luck though. I know how it feels like to have to wait. Seems forever!

When is this date? I want to add some more ECs... Will it take 5 weeks to verify again?
