I know that AMCAS apps are timestamped when you submit them, and then placed in the line first-come-first-served. But does the timestamp only matter during AMCAS business hours?
On a weekend, obviously there aren't verifiers working at AMCAS, so if I submit my AMCAS on a Saturday, will it placed be further ahead in the line than someone who submits on Sunday? Or do all the weekend applications just get collected as a group on Monday and then randomly placed in line, regardless of the time submitted?
Similarly, if I submit my AMCAS on a Saturday at 10 AM, will my app placed ahead of someone who submits at 11 AM?
The AMCAS operators don't seem to have a definite answer for this.
Thanks!
