I submitted some corrections for the First Aid book and my name was mentioned in the "General Acknowledgements" section. I don't think this means anything but someone told me that I can put that on my CV... I think that's crazy. It's not like I wrote a textbook chapter or contributed to a book in a major way. I just wanted to confirm whether or not this is something to put on a CV. What do you guys think?

Typically acknowledgments are not listed on a CV. I contributed in a similar manner to a previous edition of first aid and chose not to add it to my CV. It was about 10 minutes worth of work and wasn't something I felt particularly involved in or wanted potential CV readers to focus on.
