I have a couple quick questions. For those of you who have 19+ PAT scores, what study aids do you suggest? I have Kaplan Online and Topscore for the PAT. For the other sections I have high yield bio and chem, and EK 1001 o-chem and g-chem. Second question, for those of you who used EK 1001 ochem did you do ALL of the problems? I'm not trying to be lazy, just wanted to know if ALL of the questions are relavent to the DAT. Final question, I have a 3.1 Overall, 3.03 BCP and 3.0 Science. 1st DAT AA: 18, TS: 19, PAT: 17, Bio: 19, G-Chem: 20, Ochem: 19, QR: 16, RC: 17. Low RC is the main reason why I'm retaking it. Should I aim for 20+ on second attempt?

I used EK 1001 ochem and chem...I did all the ochem except for the last section (biochem, lab techniques, etc.). I think the 1001 ochem is great...do not waste your time doing 1001 chem, because it is much harder than the DAT. Doing the simpler problems from your text would be better.

Did anyone use Dat Achiever, and if so did you like it? I've heard it's good for the PAT section...

I did and would strongly recommend it to supplement your DAT prep not only for the PAT, but SNS, QR and part of RC (because of the stock passage there and certain type of questions asking you to identify the tone of the passage, infer something from the author's thoughts ....

It's a software that will prompt you work harder from the sub 20 scores you are going to get by generally doing any of its sample tests.

I used dat achiever and liked it. It is much more difficult than the dat (except for maybe reading which I didn't use it for and QR). The problems are difficult enough that there is more of a time constraint. But, if you can finish the sciences in time and get in the high teens, you'll have plenty of time on the real thing and it will seem easy. The PAT is very good, it helped me out a lot...especially with the keyholes.

I believe there're quite a number of real DAT questions in DAT Achiever which makes this software valuable in another sense. Those're really tricky types you will probably encounter on the test day.
