I will be completing my prereqs starting in Aug. of next year. Since I'm a nontrad, any suggestions on the order and how many courses I should take each semester?

Thanks!

Could you give us some more information on these things? Personally i'll just be under the impression that you dont have anything done yet.

Take chem and bio the first year, 15 credits or so during this year each semester.
Now you got choices, you can do.. physics or o-chem over the summer to ease your load and take physics + bio over the next year (15 credits no problem).
Or just do physics + o-chem, i would recommend if doing this to not be doing more then 14 credits.

I've been taking science courses to develop a stronger science background and GPA, since my degree is in communications, but none that will count will I apply to med school.

Specifically, I would like to know what would be the best combination/order of prereq courses to take next year so that I don't do anything stupid and take the wrong combination or take too many "difficult" classes in one semester.

I meant like what pre-reqs have you taken already? I mean if you tell me you've taken ____ class and ____ class i can better schedule you something..

I've taken really generic science classes that count more towards technical programs, i.e. immunology, cell biology, I'm taking chem 101 and medical technology, I'm also taking the second part of a Survey of Chemistry course, which I'm thinking about dropping since its a survey course. I've also taken general bio 1 & 2. I won't start into the "read deal" prereq courses until next spring.

You've taken immunology and cell biology without chem? That must have been hard. But yah Then take chem 1 and 2 this year and physics and o-chem next year. Try to be careful in picking classes without having to many difficult classes or above 14 credits.
