Suggestions for MD Admissions Consulting?

'Ello!

I was wondering if anyone who has used a MD admissions consulting service could refer me to one? Or at lease tell me specifically what they disliked/ liked about the particular service they used? I'd like to get an opinion other than the testimonials on their websites 🙄

And YES I realize SDN has a wealth of information, but I'm really pressed for time currently and would like something direct and convenient.

Thank you for the response Lollygag! While that thread has some great resources, it doesn't really give reviews/ critiques of admissions consulting firms.

Note that I WILL be using SDN, but in addition I'd like to use a professional service. So if anyone has some insight on a particularly great consultant, please let me know!

Somewhat open offer, I'll help out when I can and have the time! I have a big test this Friday, so turn around time may be a few days.

Don't do it. "Professionals" won't be able to tell you anything you can't get here on SDN for free. It's a waste of money, and people that do this sort of "counseling" stuff are pretty much scammers looking for a quick buck.

I would really recommend against paying for a consultant. It's a waste of money. It's very generous of people on SDN to offer to review apps for free, but remember that some searching will also take you quite far quite fast.
