Hi everyone, I'm currently putting together my plans for summer and wanted to know your opinions on what I should do. I'm tossing up between a study abroad experience (Madrid, 1 month) versus a paid job (a company I've worked at for the last two summers) versus research.
To give a bit of background, I'm a sociology major, and I'm currently working on a research project in that department. My pre-req grades are as follows:
Gen Chem I: B
Gen Chem II: B
Cell Bio: A
Currently taking Organic Chem I (A so far).
As far as activities, I'm in my second semester of volunteering at a children's hospital once a week. I'm also a walk guide for my school, I TA two labs per week, and I did a medical mission trip to Honduras last summer. I have around 20 hours of shadowing with more to follow this winter (both family practice and surgery).
I would appreciate any input you guys can give! 🙂
