Suggestions for undergrad prep classes

Does anyone know of some good prep classes other than the pre-requisites good to take for the OT program. I am majoring in Health Sciences and I am taking the Pre Health Specialization option and I need to come up with 6 extra classes to complete my BS degree. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance🙂.

My program lets people test out of Medical Terminology if they've taken it before (you may have had to take it already, but if not, definitely do that!) Contact your college to see what you'll be able to test out of if you've previously taken it. Save money, save time.

So, if you're able to then try to get into medical terminology... pharmacology... neuroscience...kinesiology (I know some schools only let you do those in a certain major, but it's worth a try to prepare you.)

But, you'll be starting an intense program after this, so take fun, easy classes while you can!

It would also be beneficial to take a course on disabilities, or something else that covers populations OTs will be working with (the mentally ill, children with autism, people with developmental disabilties, homeless populations) providing you don't need health-only courses. I think admissions committees would like that you explored this type of subject. Sometimes you can ask the education, psych or social work departments if there's one class they'd suggest. It is good to take social psychology, abnormal psychology, and human sexuality classes. Also, child development and human development classes are good to take.
