I have an interview coming up on Jan 21st at Boston University. Does anybody have any suggestions on where to stay, hopefully somewhere close to the school. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

There are several hotels in near the Prudential Center and Copley Place, about a 20/25 minute walk or quick cab ride to/from BUMC.
I'd recommend the Westin Copley Place, personally, but there's also the Sheraton Boston, Marriott and Hilton Boston. The Marriott is the closest to BUMC but they are all pretty close.

Enjoy Boston!

when i interviewed there i stayed at the best western roundhouse (they are all suites big nice and cheap) it is near the dorchester area i guess so kinda shady although i didnt have any probs w/ it. it is very close to BU maybe even walking distance and they have a free shuttle that goes there too. they also have a free shuttle to andrew station where you can get the red line (that is helpful if youre taking a bus into south station) good luck

If you don't know Boston, don't stay in Dorchester. Go with tourist-friendly areas like the Pru and Copley.

I also stayed at the Best western roundhouse. It is VERY close to BU. And although it isnt in the nicest area, they have free shuttles that take you many places, including to and from the airport. The rooms were nice. The shuttle driver actually dropped me off an picked me up in specific places (mall, Boston commons, etc) even though they were not on the list of drop off/pick up locations. They also drop you off at different stations so it is easy to get around. I was happy with my stay there.

Try the Hotel Buckminster in Kenmore Square. It's close to everything including the undergraduate BU campus and there is a free shuttle that connects the undergrad campus to the medical campus. You'd be about a 2 minute walk away from Fenway Park and all the public transportation to get you everywhere. If you have more money to spend, try Hotel Commonwealth- that one is gorgeous and right across the street from the T-station. Good luck at BU- I interviewed there in November and am waiting to hear from them next week.

I stayed at the ramada inn for I think 80$. They have free shuttle services to and from the airport and BU. Goodluck ! :luck:

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Suites Boston (811 Massachusetts Ave) and it's practically down the street from the med school (5 minute walk). They also pick you up from Longan Intl. Airport.
