McGaw YMCA Camp Echo in Michigan is looking for Health Officers for Summer 2019! Positions available in blocks of 1-2 weeks at a time. Current healthcare certification (EMT-B, Paramedic, WFR, RN, LPN or above) required, but it does NOT need to be a Michigan license- you will be working under standing orders written by a local physician. Gain experience & patient contact hours for grad school apps, or just take a break from your day job. I've worked there for the past few summers with my EMT (later WEMT) license and learned a ton- it was invaluable on my med school applications and for my own professional development. Age 21+ preferred, but exceptions may be made for qualified applicants.
They're also looking for a Clinic Supervisor for the summer (ideally 5/21-8/16, but there may be some flexibility)- for that role, healthcare certification is a definite bonus but not required. Great leadership and management experience.
