Just to make sure, if I took a summer course between Junior (2019-2020) and Senior year (2020-2021), I should input it as 2020-2021 and "senior year" + "summer session" right? The AMCAS manual said the numerical school year starts in the summer but was not clear if the same goes for the "year in school" input ("Junior" or "Senior"). Thank you!

Correct.

This one can be a little more confusing. Essentially, you look at your completed credit hours (assuming you're on a semester system... sorry, I know nothing about quarter systems). 0–30 hours is freshman, 31–60 is sophomore, 61–90 is junior, and 91–graduation is senior.

for the point you made about unit count, does that does include AP/IB credit prior to college that got included in the total units of college right? thanks for the reply!
