Heyy..

I'll be done with my M1 year on June 8th. I was wondering what you'd recommended as a good experience for the summer...I don't really want to do research, but I'd like to get more exposure to the hospitals...or anything in that aspect...more hands-on...

I highly recommend the POE program at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It's part research and part clinical. Medical students work on a clinical research project as well as see patients with their mentor in the clinics/floors/surgery. I worked in pediatric neurosurgery between M1 and M2. Application deadline is Feb 1 however! https://www.stjude.org/poe
