So, i made a similar poll before, but things have changed and i would like everyone's opinions again if you may!

My predent stats are on the left.

Anyways, this summer i have the option of leaving my hometown to take my physics and perhaps english prerequisites or to stay and to be trained by a dentist to volunteer at a free walk-in-clinic for the less fortunate. At the same time i will be able to focus much more on the DAT.

So here are the options!

A
Take summer accelerated physics I and II, and maybe english I (5 weeks of lessons/labs for 3 credits)
Studying for the DAT while taking those courses
~80 hours of dental experience
Mail transcripts of summer marks directly to dental school as the scores come out
B
Take physics I/II and english in fall/spring before matriculation
Fully engage in the DAT
while doing more than 80 hours of dental ECs, trained by a dentist to assist him (not official dental assistant) in a free walk in clinic for the less fortunate
Keep in mind I have a D in physics I from 2003. I am worried that they might simply reject me with that mark and my lack of other pre-reqs coupled with my low GPA. Although I am thinking that I might lag behind in my DAT preparations if I am taking so many summer courses, so that may affect my DAT score and my application date.
