Summer programs/research in OH or VA

Hi there,

Does anyone here know of any good summer program/research opportunities available to sophomores/freshmen? I am looking for a program in either Ohio or VA. All help is appreciated. Thanks.

well if your university has a lot of undergrad research going on, I would just go to one of your teacher and ask them for a lab job. That is what I am doing right now, not a bad deal, but make sure you pick what you really like. I kinda hate it now, but I got what I needed out of it.

THe NIH has a program for undergrads to do research here for the summer.... chech it out at www.nih.gov, go to training/education. I think I also saw something at VCU and UVa for the summer.

I posted this somewhere else but I've done summer research at cincinnati children's hospital with their summer student program for the past two years. You can search their website and they should have some information on it about when to apply and stuff. If you are interested and have more questions you can pm me.
