I'm waiting for my mcat score which will be released tomorrow. But so far, after completing this semester, I will have a 3.12 cgpa. After retakes during the summer, the gpa will jump to 3.21. Is this a significant jump in gpa for MD schools? Also, if I apply early, how would schools see my later gpa? I am planning on submitting my app early to maximize my chances.

what you actually want to know is if it will produce a different outcome -- and the answer is probably no. If your GPA jumped from a 3.3 to a 3.5 it might make a difference. from a 3.5 to a 3.7 you'll see another difference.
