got put on hold at downstate and was wondering if anyone else is or was on it..and what's the likely hood that one will be able to get a possible acceptance in the near future as in before may

A few questions, when did you interview bc I interviewed in December and they sent me a letter two weeks ago telling me that my app was going to committee. Actually did you get the letter post-interview that said your app was ready for the committee and that it had been sent. Just wondering because I would like to have some clue as to where I stand with respect to other completed applicants. Thanks

i interviewed right before thanksgiving... i never got an update letter. i never heard from them until recently.

Thanks for the reply... when I interviewed they said about two weeks so I figure it must be soon but I'm not going to call them because it would accomplish nothing already submitted a LOI so now I wait... ah well lets get back to watching some good ol TV

Hey I'm still waiting on their decision, when did you say you interviewed again?

Hey

I'm hold (post-interview) too. My understanding is that this is the only hold/waitlist status they have at this point (i.e., no high-priority waitlist yet). However, I think that you are still ranked internally. In the spring, they will/may reclassify you in priority and just "regular" waitlist/hold.

This is what I read somewhere on SDN back in Nov when I received the Downstate letter.
