I agree with all the other posts for me. My academic qualifications were also a little below their averages but I was still accepted.
In my opinion, just by them offering you an interview says a lot about what they think of you already. In their eyes, you have met the minimum qualifications "on paper" and because of that they want to get to know you as an individual. At the interview, if they see that you have potential as a student at SUNY and that your personality fits what they are looking for, then you'll get accepted in.
As for advice from me, I'd say definitely get to know yourself... your past, your aspirations, your goals, your motivations, and what you wrote in your personal statement. The SDN interview feedback was definitely helpful as I used those questions as prep for my own interview. I interviewed back in the beginning of December and the interviewers were definitely one of the nicest people I've ever met. Have confidence in your answers and make all your responses personal and unique.. if you do that you'll be fine. Good luck! Maybe we'll be classmates, lol.
