Desert dry! Not a drop of h2O is coming out of Upstate. And No, I will not call them, if you ask me; it does not get you anywhere.😎

Dont worry Brown, you will get your acceptance before you know it! There are plenty of people dropping there spots. I know at least three people currently at Upstate who are still waiting to get into other schools. We are still in June and its still early. I know that the waiting is tough, but you will get that call soon enough. I have officially decided not to attend Upstate and so has bunface (I think based on waht he mentioned), so there are spots available.

I contacted them last week and Jennifer Welch informed me that the list is moving slowly and that although they usually get to me in July, they may not get to me until August of this year, if at all. So maybe the list is moving slowly, but I am sure that you are way ahead of me on the list anyway.

I hope to haer good news from you in the neat future about Upstate

I agree with Blackpower...the waitlist is moving extraordinarily slow this year. I called up upstate about two weeks ago and point blank asked what my chances were (after being told in april that I was in a "grey area") and was told that they would most likely not get to me as the wait list was moving at an "unprecedented" slow speed. Seems like thats the word everywhere though...

Well, I already began Orientation at my med school, so there is absolutely no way that I will accept an invitation to join. However, wehn I contacted them last week, Isabel Rhodes told me that the list is moving very slow and they really dont know if they will get to me. They told me in May they wil get to me by July, and now there tellin me there not too sure. I dont care about my position but I hope that some of you guys get in...if not Upstate, at least somewhere. I hope that there are a lot of people in my position who already have acceptance other places and if offered a spot at Upstate, would not take it. There is still plenty of time for those waiting for Upstate because the start date is Aug 22...so theres still plenty of hope

Hey All!! My Upstate interview was on November 26th. My status section now says "Decision Made"...but I haven't received a phone call, email or letter🙁
For those who were accepted, waitlisted and/or rejected -
were there any other changes on the page that clued you in? How soon after seeing the status change on your page did you get an official notice of your status?
