NYU, for example, says to mail a check "directly to the dental school" after submitting the primary application. If you click on the "Supplemental Information" link on the "Dental School Designations" link on your AADSAS app for NYU, it gives you the mailing info.

Should we use this mailing info? I ask because the one for NYU lists the name of a specific person. So my question is should we mail it to the person listed or just to the admissions office of a specific dental school?

From their website:

Mail the $80 application processing fee directly to NYUCD at the time the AADSAS application is submitted. The fee is non-refundable. It can be paid either by check or money order in US dollars, and made payable to "NYU College of Dentistry".

Please mail the non-refundable US$80 application fee directly to NYUCD at:

NYU College of Dentistry
Office of Admissions
Attn: 2014 DDS Application
345 East 24th St., 10W
New York, NY 10010

I would use this one, generally the website for the school has more current and accurate information than AADSAS at any given time.

what's a money order? can anyone explain please?

Its sort of like a commercial check. You basically give cash at a store like seven eleven, and the clerk gives you a check that is pretty much as good as cash itself.

As the previous poster explained, money orders are just pieces of paper that take the place of cash. Checks are free though, whereas money orders typically cost a couple dollars.

Thank guys.
I paid most of the schools but some school require checks, and I am traveling abroad at the moment, so I don't know what to do 🙁
