Our school told us there were a few (maybe 20-30?) free questions to review for the surgery shelf that the NBME puts out, but I have yet to find these. Anyone know a link?

I really liked Pestana and USMLE World Q's too for the shelf. Not free (depends who you ask) but good stuff!

How many of the questions on the test are of the "easy" type?

Are there any review books in particular that one would recommend for this shelf? First Aid for Step 2, possibly?

 I also thought both the NMS books were good, but I focused on the shorter one (case something). Either way, you'll feel entirely sucker punched by the shelf, but you'll probably still do better than you felt like you did.
