Surgical loupe

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
In terms of dentistry, it's difficult to use loupes that are not measured for you, most loupes that are through the lens are custom built to your working distance. The link you showed have fold up loupes, very few people use these types of loupes because you are forced to look through two lens and they cannot be fit for your working distance. Although ophthalmologists may have a more flexible range of working distances, I'm not sure. You might want to ask the medical forums instead of the dental. Dental loupes usually cost $600-$1300

You want to be careful purchasing loupes online. If you want quality loupes that are going to last you longer than a year, I would recommend researching loupe companies and investing in yourself and career. Flip up loupes are what you are looking at and often need to be adjusted; whereas custom TTL (through the lens) loupes are measured specifically to you. This allows you to put the loupes on and work, it eliminates time spend on adjusting your flip ups. Since you are a resident, you will likely receive student pricing from companies.
I have had several pairs of loupes and Q-Optics is by far my favorite. They have a lifetime warranty on their loupes, which no other company offers. They also have great customer service.
Try on different company loupes before you make your decision.
