Don't worry about applying to every school- I've already selected the next 5 schools I'm going to apply to (pretty much all of the one's that don't have a Dec. 1st deadline that I didn't already apply to!). I have 4 rejections now and several, several "limbo statuses".

I know you probably hear this alot, but hang in there. the next 45 days are going to fluctuate with people accepting, declining etc., so I expect that some more interviews will be handed out soon. For example, USC only interviews 1/3 of the total people they're going to interview before Dec 1- so they still have 2/3 of their interviews left to conduct.

Thanks for the advise... I'm always on sdn but I've never posted anything and now I'm glad I did. It's nice to have reassurance. It's just sad that most of the schools I wanted to go to have already denied my application, which means even if interviews open up I won't be considered. Well, I guess you're right either way... why do i feel foolish or why did i send out my app late?

i feel foolish for waitign to send out my app, and i waited because... no excuse

i don't think my LORs are bad... i know all my writers fairly well except one professor, and i got an A in his class and trusted him enough to write a decent letter. ...you may be right, who knows

I will if I don't get in this year (interview at UCLA this Friday...), but Washington gives priority to Washington residents and then WICHE states.

I applied to pretty much every school on the Eastern seaboard from North Carolina up, along with a couple of PA and OH schools, UF, and UNLV. I got rejected from both OSU and Case. You?

yep - pretty much the same there too....i applied to BU, Tufts, Uconn, Buffalo, NYU, Columbia, Stony brook, NJ, Maryland, Penn, Pitt, Temple, then UF and Nova....no word from any of them though....
