of all infractions, alcohol is by far the most kosher. Getting suspended for cheating, assault, etc....will ruin your chances.
and obviously, as you stated in your post, don't do it again.
Holy crap, how many violations did you have? 😕
Infraction 1
Beer in my room freshman year. 1 Strike.
Infraction 2-Junior year
Drank some mix at a party that turned out to have grain alcohol in it. I left the party and immediately went home because i was not feeling well. Instead of staying inside i ended up outside and was just laying on the ground. I was not throwing up or acting in a violent manner. The cops came and just scooped me up. I was very angry with the cops, for i felt i was not causing any problems. In all honesty i was just trying to sober up. Wound up in jail overnight...worst experience of my life.
They gave me a double strike for the second infraction due to my high BAC.

don't they all? it's kind of the definition of wapatui.Drank some mix at a party that turned out to have grain alcohol in it. I left the party and immediately went home because i was not feeling well.
Here's how it could not at all affect you - this route probably isn't worth the time investment for you, however, since your stats are good.
Do a two year (or 1.5 year) masters, apply between years one and two, ask your graduate school to write your cover sheet, after giving them all your LORs. Your undergrad school will not be communicating with med schools nor with the grad school writing your committee letter in any form.
