Does anybody know how different are 5th edition (2004) and 4th edition (2000)? Does it really matter for the FP shelf exam and clerkship? Any thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks!

Didn't find this particularly helpful for the shelf, though I hear it's great for FP boards. I would study a lot of medicine, and know your preventative stuff (when to do colonoscopies, mammograms, etc) well. I used the NMS question book and it was helpful, but really--it's a whole lot of medicine for the shelf.

it was way too expensive for me. i used NMS question book and familypractice.com and did really well. as long as you did inpatient medicine already it'll be straight forward
