Switching classes

So I am currently a freshman in college and I failed Chemistry 121. I want to know if it looks bad if I switch into Chemistry 111. Chemistry 121 is a fast pace course designed to do the traditional chemistry route in 3 classes instead of 4. Will I still be able to get into med school if there's an F on my transcript for one type of chemistry?

Why didn't you take action if you were going to fail? There was always withdrawals. Anyway, you can retake the class, and MD schools average out the scores while DO does grade replacement.
