I was just wondering if anyone could give me an explanation on this. I have a Drexel interview that I would like to cancel and give the date to one of my friends that has a Drexel interview on a later date. How do I do this effectively? Do I just call and cancel it and have my friend call directly after to switch his appointment? Thanks...

That's pretty much what another duo did and they mentioned it here on the forums. You call and cancel your interview date, freeing it up for your friend. Your friend then calls immediately after, and grabs the spot. I'm not sure if you would say "someone is going to call and take this spot," but either way it should be fine 🙂.

edit: Oh and good luck 😀.

you should have your friend say, "Hi, I sensed an interview spot open up for (insert day)" when they immediately call.

Hi, I just got an interview invite from Drexel for March 28th. They were very nice about saying that if I wanted a sooner date, I could "take" somebody else's sooner spot once it's available. If you really want to cancel your interview with Drexel, please let me know here and we can e-mail each other and decide how to proceed. I don't think it is going to be a problem arranging it with the admissions committee, they seem very laid back about it. Please let me know, I really want to interview at Drexel 🙂
