Hi,
Is it just left ventricle that maintains the systolic blood pressure (according to Question 6 of Animal forms and functions in cliff ) or both the left and right ventricles? The same question for diastole?

Thanks,

Not sure I 100% understand your question, but blood pressure is maintained by contraction of the ventricles. The systolic and diastolic pressures are different between the two ventricles (typically higher in the left ventricle). The left can be said to dictate the pressure because it is forcing the blood out into the body directly.
