Hey everyone!

Just want to see if I'm getting this down correctly:

So vasodilation will obviously cause increase blood flow, and opposite holds true for vasoconstriction. An increased blood flow is different from the speed of blood travel right?

Ex: The more vasoconstricted the blood vessels are, the higher the BP, and the faster the blood travels.

So does blood flow just mean that more amount of blood is able to flow through the vessels, but not at the same speed as when the vessels are constricted? ( I may just be overcomplicating this, but yeah)

Thanks in advance!

Vasodilation= dilating the vessels so more blood will flow but will flow with less pressure

vasconstriction= constrict vessels so less blood but will flow with more pressure
