Tabs count as character spaces??

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
From what I remember, I don't think you can even do tabs. You can only skip lines to seperate paragraphs.

What about the spaces after the end of each paragraph?

From what I remember, you just submit your personal statement without tabs or anything, and when they submit it to dental schools they automatically format it to the appropriate form. Maybe someone can chime in on this.

tabs didn't show for me either. I put a space between each paragraph though that way it didn't look like my p.s. was one big paragraph. i'm about to e-submit in an hour....hopefully they don't count those spaces in the character count

It shows the character count at the bottom of the input box, so you'd know if you were over or not with the added spaces before you e-submit

is anyone else thinking that the space for personal statement is getting shorter compared to other years? seems like it that way.
