Would it be appropriate to ask letter writers to tailor their letters to specific schools? For example, I am having a doctor I shadowed write me a letter and he:
-is an Associate Professor at UMDNJ
-is an alumnus of U of Maryland
-did residency at NY Medical College
Would it be too much work to have him tailor separate letters for each school?
Also, I am applying for DO schools and was wondering if I should have my letter writers tailor their letters for this, or to just have them use their MD letter (that talks about my potential as a physician).
Thanks for your help! 🙂
