I am looking at the classes that I have to take for next school and I found out I still have a lot. I will be a senior next year with around 9 classes left (4 labs + 4 upper level science classes + 1 upper level elective).
I am planning on applying for dental school this cycle but after seeing the work load that I will be doing for my final year, I don't know if I should still stick with my plan 🙁. Can I get some advice about this? Should I extend my graduation year? Has anyone of you tried taking 5 science classes in one semester?

YES. extend your year... and I am currently taking 4 science classes at the moment. I'm taking Organic Chemistry II with lab, Human Anatomy with lab, Human Physiology, and Microbiology with lab, along with statistics and english II. It is DIFFICULT. Although I'm doing well, I have absolutely no life. My Tuesday and Wednesday's start from 8AM and end at 9PM because of those four hour labs.... I really don't recommend it unless you're 100% committed to having studying everyday--literally. This means you will not have time for any other commitments such as EC or volunteering. Is there any way you could take those classes in the summer?

I already looked into that. The thing tho is that I will be studying for the DAT and take it in the middle of June and most of the science classes they offer in my university starts in May. I just realized that I have 10 classes left, and I will be taking one of those this summer (Physics II).

I guess extending my year sounds better than not having a break during the semester.

Summer classes?

10 classes? Wow, yeah, I would definitely recommend extending your time. That way, you have more time to study for your DAT. Good luck!

There's always the option of pushing back your DAT date until fall if you really wanted to get those classes completed

In a way took 6 science courses within 1 semester. Just don't ..... no life.

why not take some of those, say 2 science class with labs during summer. Or maybe 4.
