Would it make sense to take Bio I and II if I already have AP credit for them on my transcript? I would enjoy the possible GPA boost and review. I have already taken some upper level bio courses including biochem and genetics.

Oh yeah. Take the easy As and avoid any prereq conflicts with med schools. Usually schools don't allow this, though.

Some medical schools do not accept AP credit. Check into the schools you're interested in applying in.

I have already graduated. I would be taking it post-bac at another school.

Ah. I have no idea how post-bac courses work, but I would do it were I you should I have the time and cash.

Aren't those medical schools ok with them as long as you have taken additional upper level bio courses? Do they want you to specifically take intro bio in college?

That I do not have the answer to but I know if you have an msar they will tell you if they accept it or not. I would probably call and ask for complete clarification.

I did this. Worth it imo. It's a nice refresher and often the material taught in introductory courses at university goes above and beyond that of the AP exam (at least in my case it has)
