Take notes while studying for MCAT??

Do you guys take detailed notes on your reading materials when studying for the MCAT? I'm using EK and I'm taking some pretty good notes while reading through it the first time, but it's just sooo time consuming to do it that way. What do you think?

It all depends on how you learn. I didn't take any notes and I did fine, but I've always been good at reading things and retaining them.

I took VERY high yield notes going through the first time. Only stuff I didn't know. This made it very easy to go over the stuff I needed to learn. In the end it was 10 pages combined.
