hey all-

just got done with ~30 days of board study for comlex 1. got through all of DIT except for 2 lectures. haven't done any OPP study yet. i am one week out from the test.

just took my COMSAE form B and got a 515...i was hoping to do a little better than that. should i just go ahead and take the actual comlex and hope for the best? or push back? thanks.

Honestly you should take it. Its a bad idea to push back, because no one will ever be really ready for this beast. You did the best you can and thats all you can do.

Do you know what subjects you are weak in? If you haven't studied for OPP, then it should not take much time to get through Savarese, which can bring up your score if this was an issue on your COMSAE. My test had a ton of levels so these could be easy points if you study those from Savarese.

I was tempted to push out my test too but just decided to plow through to get it done and behind me. I think a 400 is passing and 500 average so you have a bit of a safety margin. I guess it just depends on your goal and whether you think you can make a big move in your score with more time.

I was in about the same place after DIT...just hit OMT, your weak spots and get through COMBANK and take the silly thing. After yesterday Im not sure I would've been any better off studying for a few more weeks anyway...but it feels good to be done with it.
