Taking a pre-req in my gap year

Hello all, I was wondering what you guys think of this. I am not able to finish all my prereqs before I wanted to apply. I will only have 3 semester hours of English, and the schools I want to apply to require 6. I was planning on taking the extra English class in my gap year since none are available to me next semester (argh!). My question is, am I able to still apply taking a pre req in my gap year? (I'm applying next cycle). I would obviously try and inform schools that I am doing this but I would love to hear some thoughts on my situation. Thanks.

Of course you can, you just have to finish all your pre-req before matriculation into the Dental Program. Just make sure to put it as Planned/In Progress on your AADSAS application. Thats all!
