I made a thread here earlier about starting pre-med late and the possibility of taking biology, chemistry and physics simultaneously. It turns out that due to scheduling issues, I can't take physics I the fall, but I can take it in the summer, and then take physics II in the spring of next year. Would that be okay? I'm planning to take the MCAT in the spring of the year after next.

its fine. most likely they are not that related. 2nd semester phys should focus more on E&M

Yah, I did something similar. I took physics in the winter quarter, and skipped spring quarter, and finished it during the summer. No med school has castigated me for this, so it should be okay. Just remember to do well🙂

I took Physics I in the spring and didn't take Physics II until the following spring. I really wasn't an issue. A quick 5-10 minute review should get you right back where you need to be.

you'll be fine. Second semester physics is easy! plug and chug 🙂

is it really? is that the general consensus? lol. i know someone who ap'ed out of physics II but not physics I... but i doubt II is easier?
