Taking a summer course

I'm planning on applying this upcoming cycle; however, I will also be taking a summer class. If I submit my application in June, can I still update my application once the class is finished in July?

Nope, you may not. You can send an unofficial letter/update to schools if you wish. But once you submit, you may not update your grades until academic update midway through the cycle.
