I took the MCAT the summer after sophomore year and got an okay score. However, I am considering taking the MCAT after submitting the primary app to boost my score/improve chances. I would be willing to submit my primary with my current MCAT score, but it seems that this does not reflect all the stuff I learned after taking a bunch of upper level science classes. But all the posts I saw on this suggests noting the later MCAT date, which will essentially put your application on hold (at the back of the line?) until your score comes in.

Anyhow, if I submit my app in June and take the test in August without noting it on my app, will I stay in the "June" pile and get reviewed accordingly, so if I send my score comes in September it will just be an addendum that won't take me off the early pile?

I know this is a weird question that's just trying to "work the system," but it's a serious question and I don't believe that I'm the only one curious.
