taking calc and orgo 1 at CC for prep- bad idea?

it's been a year since i took calculus courses in high school and my foundation was very weak. i was going to take that, as well as orgo 1, at my local college as a prep and foundation for taking it at my regular school. bad idea? will adcoms look down on this? do i have to include it in my transcript?

I took both calc and orgo 1 at my university after being out of school for 5 years. Got an A- and an A respectively. You don't need to take it once as a prep, just work hard and you'll succeed.
