I am currently a senior at Uni in NJ and wanted to know if I should do a post-bacc/masters or do classes at a university worth about 30-35 credits and being all science classes. My gpa is a 3.15 and sGPA 2.9. I am asking because I don't want to spend a lot of money like 30-40k on masters/post-bacc, that's my reason for taking class. Thanks

Look into Rutger's SMP program designed for pre-dental track since you're in NJ. If not, try to find a 1 year masters program that doesn't require a thesis.

If you don't want to spend too much money, your best bet would be to push that sgpa above 3.0 to pass some minimum benchmarks, ace the DAT, and apply broadly.

Midwestern University AZ or IL has a 9 month master (MA in biomed. No thesis) and has articulation agreements at BOTH of their dental schools.

I would ask admission committees to see what they think. In my opinion, i think taking classes at your university instead of enrolling in a masters/post-bac is the way to go.

Agree that you should try to take classes at your current university to bring up your GPA and not waste your time or money on Midwestern, especially the AZ campus if you are trying to apply to the dental school. If you are applying to the medical school you might have a chance if you do well in the program. I would search for other alternatives rather than wasting your money on a program that doesn't hold up their end of the deal with their articulation agreements.
