Anyone here attend a University and have also taken classes at a JC for pre-reqs?

I'm pretty much forced to take at least 1 class at a JC as my university doesn't offer SPEECH. I am not a bio major, and I am also considering taking a few bio pre-reqs at the JC as well and graduate early from my university (save a lot of money!).

Is this looked down upon?

Was anyone here asked about taking pre-reqs at a JC?

this has been discussed at least in 12 other threads... For personal experiences check those threads. TO answer this briefly, it's ok as long as you do well in your classes.

Farmer, do you know why you were denied from LLU?

Classes at a JC are not looked down on. Yesterday in my pre-pharmacy meeting we had the assistant dean from USN come in and talk to us. That question was specifically asked about JC courses, and he absolutely it didn't matter where you got your pre-core classes. I guess that is just his admission's committee but coming from him, it really made me believe that it doesn't matter.
