I wanted to take these classes for a DIY post bacc program, and since they are biology classes, i thought why not? But does anyone have any suggestions on whether or not i should take these classes? I am taking developmental bio as well...thanks!

They'll go towards your BCPM, so they'll certainly help you out in both your overall and BCPM sections. If you do well, there is no reason not to take them. I would take classes like Statistics, Biochemistry and Genetics especially, but once those are done, the ones you are taking are fine.

i guess it depends on the school. i just took animal behavior at a liberal arts college and everything was paper based. all assignements and midterms and the final project were a bunch of papers, no traditional textbook based multiple choice questions or the essay based exams.

i guess the professor decided to do a paper based course because there weren't that many kids in the course, 17 or 18.

however, i just finished a comparative psych course and the textbook we used was titled animal behavior. we had a lot of multiple choice questions and essays for the examinations.

like all paper based courses, its always hard to get that A, but i guess if its multiple choice based, the answer is definite and you can rack up points and get an A. So yea, it depends on the school.

hope that helped.

o snap dangit, are u korean? i dont know why but i just saw ur previous posts and saw you asking about korean med schools. 나도한국사람이에요~ ㅋㅋ

i think going abroad should be the last option to do, because of all the limitations and requiremetns in getting a decent residency program. not so sure but the general impression of foreign med students isn't great. g luck.

ㅋㅋ 연녕하세요~ yea, going to korea is my last option, but just in case i couldn't get into a US school, i wanted to keep that as a backup. are you in college right now? Where do you go?
