Anyone know if it is possible to take graduate level classes and transfer them into the dental program when accepted? Even better, would it be possible to take dental classes through the dental school and then when accepted (or if), you could apply them toward your dental degree? Maybe you could cut off a year when accepted? Would this be beneficial if it were possible?

i doubt any classes is transferable from a graduate program to a dental program. also, i think you have to be a dental student in order to take the dental core classes. i know that some med school allow non-medical students to take their core classes, it usually is use to beef up their applicantion showing the school that they can handle the course loads. but i theard the dental school don't allow it. i guess it wouldn't hurt to call the school and ask though.

Can't do it. This is a doctorate program, not community college. Transfer credits ain't in the cards.

I'll be the third voice of reason and concur by saying that it isn't possible. Most dental schools don't even allow transfers between dental schools, so allowing transfer of credits from people who aren't even enrolled is not a possibility.

Actually at Marquette, some people took some courses(like 2) and were told if they did well (recieved an A) they could count toward their dental curriculum. The only catch was these students were undergraduates at Marquette and were going to marquette dental. i believe one of the classes was nutrition but i cant remember the other one. yet like the others said these arent graduate level courses.

Actually there is a chance this is possible Derock. VCU and I think a few other schools may allow it. VCU has a D5 program for students with something holding them back from acceptance/matriculation at dental schools. You actually take some 1st year dental classes with dental students, if you do well then you are exempt from those courses as a dental student. I'm not sure what other schools incorporate this- in like a post-bac type thing....but just research it!
