Taking/doing poorly in unnecessary classes... will it affect my med school acceptance?

Hi SDN. So I'm currently working in a lab at a major university, and as an employee I get to take free classes. I am NOT a full time student (graduated last spring). I am taking two classes, one of which is some sort of biology class. The other is more of an elective. I am just taking the classes "for fun" but now they are becoming a real burden on my schedule. I am pulling C's right now... if I get any lazier with them, I may fail. Please don't judge! I work 50 hours a week and they are simply not my priority.

Anyway, I got accepted into med school last month... Do I have to report the transcripts from these random classes (that do not count for any sort of degree) to my school when I receive my final grade? How will failing or getting Cs affect my acceptance? I could kill myself to pull up my grades during finals, but I don't want to do that unless it is absolutely necessary. Again, this may seen lazy but these classes are also not a priority to me unless they will have a direct impact on my acceptance. I already have a decent undergrad GPA.

Thanks in advance for any advice 🙂

Unless your acceptances are conditional, then no.

Oh right, thanks. Just took a look at it...
  • "I am required to submit official transcripts from each school I have attended. If the transcripts are not received in the Admissions Office by July 1, 2016, my acceptance will be withdrawn and my position offered to another qualified applicant"
  • "my matriculation is based upon the expectation that I will satisfactorily complete any courses or academic degree programs listed on my AMCAS application and/or taken since it was submitted"
Sigh... I guess this is pretty clear, huh? Thanks for the advice.
