Taking Electives at Comm. College in HS

Hey,
I was wondering if it hurts your application if you take non-BCPM classes at a community college while in HS. I want to just to get some of those stupid classes out of the way like Speech, Sociology, etc., but as a HS student I am not eligible for scholarships, so classes at the university will be very expensive.
