Hello everyone,

I am about to start my last quarter in college. I already fulfilled my requirements for my major and am now deciding what classes to take when the next quarter starts. I was thinking of taking several upper div bio classes to show med schools I was motivated and science-oriented all throughout college. However, as I am a pharmaceutical sciences major, all upper div bio classes were bio-major restricted and I was not able to enroll in any of them. Instead, I signed up for 1 physics lab and 3 lower division bio courses. Would this in any way negatively impact my application in the future for med schools? Would you recommend I try to waitlist for some upper div bio courses? Does it even matter if Im taking lower/upper div classes as long as they're science related? Im not sure what I should be focused on my last quarter as I already finished my major requirements.

I'd appreciate any advice you may have!

They care far more about your GPA than if you were "science-oriented all throughout college." Schools don't care about your major as long as you have the prereqs covered. Take classes that you enjoy and can do well in.

I did that. It's not a problem, just study hard!
