Taking online science classes at a community college a very bad idea?

I am a college student in Oklahoma, and will soon be moving to Michigan. All of my core classes are complete, but I still have to take several science classes (chem 2, physics 1 & 2, microbiology, etc.). Because I will be classified as an out-of-state student, tuition will be much higher until I have lived in Michigan for a year. I cannot afford to go to a 4 year university for that time period, so my plan is to take community college classes for a year and then transfer over to a 4-year university for upperlevel courses. I have the option of either attending classes at a community college in Michigan, or online from Oklahoma. Taking them online would be more affordable, but I don't know want to hurt my chances of being accepted into a good dental school.
Do you think that it will look better on my transcript to have taken them on campus rather than online? Thank you very much for the responses.

Take as few as possible in person at the CC. Avoid online science classes.

There is no guideline for online vs in-class classes.... Most schools don't exactly specify it on their website but if you call them and ask, they'll almost always recommend you do the in-class option.... So I recommend you avoid the online option as much as possible (You can do a few if you have to, but not a whole bunch)

I think (just me guessing) the reason online classes are frowned upon is ... many dental schools don't have an attendance policy, but they still prefer students to come and sit through lectures.... If you start taking (and enjoying) online courses now, your probably gonna carry this tradition through in dental school.

As far as CC vs university goes.... If you are forced to do the basic pre-reqs at CC, then you have no choice, but know that it does limit your applying options (few dental schools won't accept any CC credit). However, I encourage you to take upper level bio courses at a university after CC.

I think they don't like online classes because they are very diluted down classes. My wife took a couple of online classes at a CC and they were a joke. She did almost no work at all and got A's in them.
