Hi guys, so I would appreciate if you guys can help me out here a little bit.

So I go to a ok state school UNCG,

Currently my gpa is really low, its a 2.9 I messed up on my general chem 1 and2 but I can do grade replacement and turn these C to an A.

since I am already kinda behind on my pre med tracks I was trying to take Bio 2 in an easier college which is a HBC. Our college got a program with that collgeg where the grade will transfer over but on the transcript it will say I took it at NCA&T college. Reason I want do that because I want to get back on track again since I am already behind.

Do you think Medical schools are going to take that as a negative. Since all that matter is GPA and MCAT.

I am still Undecided major cuz I dont want to hurt my gpa with hard major. but i became very lazy and didnt do my work in easy classes so i got a bad gpa. Any advice for me.

Thanks in advanced.

Be wary of taking pre-reqs at another institution, especially one you described as "easier." Adcoms probably won't like this...

Why not just work hard and do well at your college instead of trying to take the easy way out?

Sorry OP. Med school is much more difficult than your current struggles. Take harder classes and do well on them. Otherwise, rethink your career options.

Probably won't matter all that much

The MCAT is the great equalizer

I'm not sure where you think an easier school would be.

How do you know that the premed courses at NCA&T are easier than your school? Certain things about the premed academic experience are universal: long labs, lots of work, bell curves, etc.

Or are you thinking about community college?

Whatever it takes to boost your GPA do it, in the end it is a nos game. I was told GPA from MIT is same as GPA from CC.

I was told the exact opposite from my undergrad and its med school. It's a top 25 and the dean said 90% of the class is made up from schools in the top 50. They rarely give interviews to people from low level schools unless there is something special about them.

It does look like you're trying to game the system. I was told it's a bad idea to take premed courses at schools other than "your" college.
