Taking prereqs at both CC and 4yr school

Would taking prereqs at both CC and 4 year schools look bad on the application? I'm not a science major so if it is okay I would like to come home during the summer and take science pre req courses over the summer at a local CC while taking science pre reqs at 4 yr school during the regular school year

Not optimal but won't kill you either. Best to take them at a 4 yr so as to not raise anyone's eyebrows. Taking sciences at a CC tends to look suspect but alot depends on how the rest of your app and, esp., your sGPA look
