Taking science course at community college over the summer?

How do the adcoms look at this? I can't afford to take summer classes at my 4 year because I was never given financial aid for the summer.

When I applied last year, I called all the admissions offices (for the schools I applied to) about retaking classes at a CC. All the schools said that as long as the CC is accredited, it is fine. =)
